Especially from Monday to Friday outside school holiday periods, the HolstenTherme offers plenty of peace and tranquillity for a relaxing day of wellness.
At weekends and during the holidays, the WaterWorld is particularly popular with families with small children.
The occupancy indicator helps you to plan your holiday: Here you can see when HolstenTherme is busier or less busy.
At the reception you can get everything you need for a nice swim, sauna or wellness stay:
Swimwear by Speedo and Beco: swimming costumes, bikinis, swimming trunks, shorts,...
Bathing utensils: bathrobes, bath towels, bathing utensils, bathing shoes, swimming goggles, swimming aids, nappies,...
Water fun items such as pool noodles, water balls, swimming boards etc. can be purchased at the lifeguard desk.
In the WaterWorld, the SaunaWorld and especially in the gastronomic areas of the HolstenTherme, it is not permitted to consume food and drinks that you have brought with you. We offer an extensive range of food and drinks in our catering facilities.
If something has gone missing, ask - preferably with a precise description - at the lost property service: 0049 4191/9122-20 daily from 10:30-20:00 or use our contact form.
It is not possible to send missing items, they can be collected during opening hours.
There is no family rate card in this sense - for guests who visit us regularly, our savings rates, FitPass and ClubCard are worthwhile!
The entire HolstenTherme site is subject to the statutory regulations for the protection of non-smokers. However, to ensure that all our guests feel comfortable and respectful of each other, we also offer designated smoking areas:
AdventurePool: Outside at the landing house of the slides and within the marked smoking garden.
SaunaWrld: Outside on the patio
Warm water outdoor pool: Outside on the panorama terrace and on the sunbathing lawn, but not on the Bankirai wooden deck.
We kindly ask our smoking guests to ensure that no one is inconvenienced by the outflowing smoke.
It is best not to take any valuables with you into the HolstenTherme. If necessary: A selected number of lockers are available in the entrance area of the WaterWorld and SaunaWorld, which can be used free of charge with your smart key.
A limited number of lockers are also available in the outdoor pool at the bathing area (€ 1.00 deposit from the swimming attendant) and in the changing room building (€ 5.00 deposit at the cash desk).
As from 01.02.2024, the HolstenTherme is cash-free The following payment methods are accepted: GiroPay (EC card), all major credit cards (Visa+Mastercard), MobilePay and PayPal.
When checking in at reception, all guests receive the Smart Key - this makes paying at HolstenTherme particularly convenient. You don't have to decide how long you want to stay when you arrive. When you leave the HolstenTherme, you settle the bill.
Bathing, sauna, eating or drinking - all the facilities at HolstenTherme can be enjoyed cashlessly with the Smart Key. Simply hold the Smart Key against the respective reader and the amount is recorded. All bookings on the key are printed out as a detailed receipt - please always check this "account statement" straight away!
The key account has a limit of € 50.00 (youths: € 15.00). This limit can be increased as required at reception. You can check the current status of your key account at the information stations or ask at the cash desk.
Very important: The Smart Key is as valuable as cash within the HolstenTherme! When worn directly on the body, it is the safest way to prevent theft or misuse by others. If you lose your key, please let reception know immediately!
When leaving the HolstenTherme, you settle the total charge. Hold the key against the reader of the automatic pay station and pay the amount due with EC-, Maestro, Visa, MasterCard or Apple Pay. Once your balance has been cleared, you can leave HolstenTherme directly via the right-hand turnstile.
